Several years ago, I had a planned opportunity to leave the corporate world and serve my first child as a stay-at-home dad; then again for my second child. In the intervening years, I had come to realize that I wasn't fulfulled in my former career. I started out as being a professional musician. It paid my education through a graduate program. I owned a computer consulting company. I was a professional IT manager in a corporate environment which afforded me the opportunity to work in finance, HR, and operations managament. What what always made me happy in my work was helping people and creating things.
